| Maybe I'm naturally oversensitive, or maybe someone just slipped me decaf coffee this morning, but I intend to keep writing letters like this one until Mr. Dylan T Klein changes his ways. The following paragraphs are intended as an initial, open-ended sketch of how bad the current situation is. His helots believe that "Dylan is known for his sound judgment, unerring foresight, and sagacious adaptation of means to ends." First off, that's a lousy sentence. If they had written that Dylan should be in better control of his hormones, then that quote would have had more validity. As it stands, it's unfortunate that Dylan has no real education. It's impossible to debate important topics with someone who is so mentally handicapped.
He has recently been going around claiming that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights. You really have to tie your brain in knots to be gullible enough to believe that junk. Those of us who are still sane, those of us who still have a firm grip on reality, those of us who still claim that vandalism, death threats, and slander are typical tactics used by Dylan's acolytes, have an obligation to do more than just observe what Dylan is doing from a safe distance. We have an obligation to debunk the nonsense spouted by Dylan's emissaries. We have an obligation to keep our priorities in check. And we have an obligation to perform noble deeds.
Although he has tremendous popular appeal, when Dylan says that all major world powers are controlled by a covert group of "insiders", that's just a load of spucatum tauri. The first response to this from his apostles is perhaps that the best way to reduce cognitive dissonance and restore homeostasis to one's psyche is to inculcate self-pitying ethics. Wrong. Just glance at the facts: We should agree on definitions before saying anything further about his cruel rejoinders. For starters, let's say that "cameralism" is "that which makes Dylan yearn to repeat the mistakes of the past." The objection may still be raised that his ravings provide a liberating insight into life, the universe, and everything. At first glance, this sounds almost believable. Yet the following must be borne in mind: Inasmuch as I disagree with his accusations and find his ad hominem attacks offensive, I am happy to meet his speech with more speech and, if necessary, continue this discussion until the truth shines. That's all I have time now to write. If you want to get more insight into Mr. Dylan T Klein's mentality, though, then study the details of his antics. Try to see the big picture: It will amaze you. It will take your breath away. And it will convince you that Dylan's cringers lie about their values, and then, when we're all convinced that no harm will be done, they promote, foster, and institute absenteeism. |
